Student's Codes of Behavior

This information of Students' Ethical Codes is part of the overall provisions regarding the rules of behavior that also cover the rights and obligations of students of Medika Persada Bali Health Sciences Institutes. Complete guidelines will be received by students from Student Affairs after being officially registered as Active Students at the Medika Persada Bali Health Sciences Institutes.


APPLICATION
This Student Code of Ethics has a scope of applicability and application to:
  1. All students of Health Sciences Institute of Medika Persada Bali
  2. Every interaction and activity of students in the Health Sciences Institute of Medika Persada Bali 
  3. Student ethics outside the campus environment, as long as the actions taken are directly related to activities approved by the Institution or actions that are directly related to campus organizing activities.

 

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR
Good standards of behavior reflect adherence to ethical norms in life in society, which include:
  1. Students must believe in God Almighty in accordance with their religion and beliefs, honesty, optimistic, active, creative, rational, able to think critically, be humble, polite, prioritize academic honesty, be able to value time, and be open to the development of science, technology and art.
  2. Students must be able to show attitudes in accordance with the dignity of science they carry, namely socializing, greeting, and speaking politely, naturally, sympathetic, educative, meaningful, and in accordance with applicable moral norms.
  3. Students as educated people must be able to develop a climate of creation of works of science, technology and art that reflects the clarity of conscience, nuanced devotion to God Almighty, and encourage the quality of human life.
  4. Students must be able to design, implement, and complete their studies according to applicable academic regulations.
  5. Students must be able to play an active role in realizing campus life that is safe, comfortable, clean, orderly, and conducive.
  6. Students must be able to be morally, spiritually, and socially responsible to practice the science, technology and arts they have learned for the benefit of society, nation and state.
  7. Students must be able to reflect the attitude of being educated by looking humble, polite, clean, and neat, according to the context of need.
  8. Students as human beings who are self-aware and aware of the environment must always be able to maintain the integrity, order, cleanliness, beauty, and tranquility of the campus.
  9. Students in the context of campus life must be able to actualize a disciplined attitude in the lecture system, academic regulation system, administrative procedures, so that the lecture management system runs smoothly and regularly.

 

STUDENT RIGHTS
  1. To use academic freedom responsibly to demand and study knowledge in accordance with applicable norms and ethics in an academic environment.
  2. Obtain the best teaching and academic services according to their interests, talents, hobbies and abilities.
  3. Utilizing higher education facilities in the context of a smooth learning process. 
  4. Receive guidance from the lecturer who is responsible for the study program / department with which they’re registered as well as for their study results.
  5. Obtaining information services related to the study program / department that they participated in and the results of their studies.
  6. Complete the study ahead of the schedule set in accordance with applicable requirements.
  7. Obtaining welfare services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Utilize university resources through student representatives / organizations to manage and regulate the welfare, interests and governance of community life.
  9. Move to another higher education or other study program / department, if the higher education or the program/department has the capacity to allow it.
  10. Participate in student organizations at the intended higher education.

 

OBLIGATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION FOR STUDENTS
A. Student Obligations:
  1. Comply with all regulations / provisions that apply to the relevant higher education.
  2. Participate in maintaining facilities and infrastructure as well as cleanliness, order and security of the higher education concerned.
  3. Join to bear the costs of organizing education except for students who are exempted from these obligations in accordance with applicable regulations.
  4. Appreciate science, technology and/or art.
  5. Maintain the authority and good name of the higher education concerned.
  6. Upholding national culture
 
B. Student Code of Conduct:
General Rules of Conduct
  1. Act, be polite and always maintain the good name of the Almamater;
  2. Participate in maintaining the cleanliness, order and security of the campus;
  3. Mutual respect for fellow students and be polite to the leadership and the academic community.
 
Lecture Code
  1. Must be present 15 (fifteen) minutes before the lecture begins;
  2. Must fill in a lecture attendance list and may not be represented;
  3. Must wear polite and neat clothes (collared shirts, shoes and not wearing T-shirts, sandals and pants / skirts made from jeans);
  4. It is forbidden to fake the signature (either one's own or friend's) in the attendance list;
  5. Prohibited from wearing tight, transparent and dressed clothes that do not cover the base of the neck, arms, stomach and waist as well as wearing excessive jewelry and makeup for women;
  6. No smoking in the campus area;
  7. Carrying or using sharp weapons and firearms is prohibited;
  8. No eating and drinking in the classroom;
  9. Prohibited from gambling, drinking alcoholic drinks, and using narcotics;
  10. It is prohibited to cross out and vandalize tables, chairs and facilities in the campus area;
  11. It is forbidden to leave class during lectures without the permission of the teaching lecturer.
  12. While in class, the cellphone must remain silent. If there is an important call, please take the call outside the class
